Heathos Pulse

A monthly issue for Heathos's agents and partners that reads like a magazine and ships the day the draft arrives.

In short

Pulse is a newsletter built as a site, not a PDF. Each month's issue has its own theme, a message from the CEO, product and regulatory updates, events, and lighter pieces. A content director sends a Word document; by the end of the day it is a published, designed, linked issue and it has gone to the list. Seven consecutive issues shipped same-day.

01The client

How Heathos talks to the agencies that sell its products.

The same Heathos as Moon. Pulse is what changed, what is live in which states, what to know before open enrollment.

An issue: themed, modular, readable on a phone between calls.

02What we designed

A format, a workflow, a link back.

The issue format.

A modular monthly layout with themed visuals, sections that repeat (CEO message, agent essentials, regulatory and market updates, calendar), and sections that vary (a puzzle, a spotlight). A print-friendly open-enrollment checklist that agents keep on their desks.

The workflow.

Markdown source per month, a documented process for the next issue, and an agent that turns the director's document into the month's pages, generates the visuals, and sends the issue when it is approved. The turnaround has been the same day for every issue so far.

The link back.

Every issue links to the product references in Moon, so a claim in Pulse and a claim in a sales brief come from the same source.

03What it shows

The publishing engine generalizes.

The rules are different (a monthly issue, a corporate voice, a compliance disclaimer on every page), the mechanism is the same: a document goes in, a published thing comes out, the validator and a person check it, and nobody reformats anything by hand.
