In short
Same thing as everything you just read. An agent is an AI with a harness. We call it a lobster because the lobster is the mascot of the singularity.
We got tired of the word agent. It means too many things: an insurance agent, an FBI agent, an agent of change. So we gave ours a second name: lobster.
A lobster is an AI with a harness. The model is the meat inside. The harness is the shell around it: the instructions it runs on, the tools and connectors it can reach, the schedule it keeps, the rules it never breaks. The model does the thinking. The harness turns that thinking into work that gets done, logged and checked.
Lobsters crawl around your systems doing tasks, and they can swarm: one lobster per job, many lobsters on one business, each with its own written instructions.
The site says agent by default. Turn lobster mode on and every agent on it becomes a lobster. Turn it off and it says agent again. Same thing, either way.
