In short
Building software by directing an agent in plain language, iterating fast, shipping before you would have finished the spec the old way.
Vibe coding is the practice of describing what you want, letting an agent write the code, reading the result, and steering. You guide direction and taste. The agent handles implementation. You ship, then improve in production.
It is not a shortcut and it is not carelessness. The skill is knowing what to build, knowing when the result is wrong, and moving fast enough to find out. Those are design and judgment skills. The typing was never the hard part.
Everything we have shipped for clients was built this way. A single person with taste and an agent can produce what used to take a team, and the software is real: tested, deployed, documented.

What it looks like.
A lead engine that would have been a six-figure, year-long build for a team was built in two weeks by one person directing an agent, and has run every night since.Related
